NON KID-PITCH DIVISIONS
Tee Ball
Our tee ball program offers our youngest ball players an opportunity to learn the basics of the game. They will learn skills such as basic throwing, catching, hitting, sportsmanship, teamwork, and learn the basic rules of baseball in a non-competitive environment in which scores are not kept.
Age Range: 4-5
Weekly Schedule: 1 weeknight practice, 1 Saturday game
Ability Level: Complete beginners

Coach Pitch / Machine Pitch
This program is meant for newer players who want to continue to develop their skills in a non-competitive environment which does not keep score or track wins/losses. We focus on continuing to develop the basic skills of throwing, catching, and hitting a soft core baseball, this time off real pitches! Coaches may pitch to players, or use a catapult-style pitching machine to ensure consistent pitches. If your player is interested in playing “real” games, and score being kept, “A division” may be a more appropriate option.
Age Range: 5-7
Weekly Schedule: 1 weeknight practice, 1 weeknight game every other week, 1 Saturday game
Ability Level: Players should already be familiar with throwing a baseball and swinging a bat.

KID-PITCH DIVISIONS
A Division / Modified Coach Pitch
This is a transitional division in which players begin pitching to opposing hitters, and at-bats are completed by coach pitch when necessary. The Single A Division plays a full baseball game - outs are recorded and a score is kept, but there are no standings kept or champion crowned at the end of the season. This ensures that all players on a team have equal opportunity to develop at every position, as coaches have no incentive to consistently place stronger players at positions of importance. Kids will pitch to a batter until either an out is recorded, or they throw four balls, at which point a coach will come in to complete the at bat with either a ball in play or strikeout. That’s right, no walks! A limit of 4 runs per inning is applied to minimize lopsided scores, keep games moving, and maximize opportunities for players to try their hand at various positions. This division is great for players who are ready to play a more organized, “real” baseball game with a winner and loser, but are not quite ready for the season long competition of our AA division. Single A games are umpired by the coaches.
Age Range: 7-8
Weekly Schedule: 1 weeknight practice, 1 weeknight game every other week, 1 Saturday game
Ability Level: Players should be able to defend themselves from a thrown ball, and be able to throw the ball a distance of 40 feet.
Field dimensions: 50' base paths, 40' pitching distance, no mound.

AA Division
Our AA division plays a full baseball game - outs are recorded, score is kept, and we crown "champions" at the end of the season. Coaches are no longer on the field, and the result of the game is entirely in the hands of the players. A limit of 5 runs per inning is applied to minimize lopsided scores, keep games moving, and maximize opportunities for players to try their hand at various positions.
AA players are required to attend a preseason player assessment for evaluation, after which they will be assigned to a team via draft to promote league parity. Players may be encouraged to move up or required to move down a division based on the assessment.
Age Range: 8-10
Weekly Schedule: 1 Weeknight practice, 1 Weeknight game, 1 Saturday game
Ability Level: Can make contact with a pitch in the strike zone, can throw a ball to a target and catch a ball consistently, understands the basic rules of play, is committed to regular attendance as a contributing member of a team.
Field Dimensions: 60’ base paths, 42’ pitching distance, no mound.

AAA Division
Our AAA division is comprised of players who have aged out of our younger divisions, but are still primarily concerned with development and are not yet ready for the speed and intensity of competition at the Majors level, or younger players who desire a higher level of competition but can not safely compete against 12 year olds in Majors.
At this level, coaches are still expected to facilitate opportunities for all players at positions of interest throughout the season. A limit of 5 runs per inning is applied to minimize lopsided scores, keep games moving, and maximize opportunities for players to try their hand at various positions.
AAA players are required to attend a preseason player assessment for evaluation, after which they will be assigned to a team via draft to promote league parity. Players may be encouraged to move up or required to move down a division based on the assessment.

Majors Division
This is the classic Little League program that plays by full Little League rules. Any player that is within the age range, has a strong skill set, and wants to play competitive games should register in Majors. There are no run limits or time limits. Teams must make 3 outs to end an inning, and games are played a full six innings unless a mercy rule applies.
Majors players are required to attend a preseason player assessment for evaluation, after which they will be assigned to a team via draft to promote league parity. Players may be encouraged to move up or required to move down a division based on the assessment. Players interested in playing on 11U or 12U All Star Teams should play in the Majors division.
*Players who will be age 12 by August 31 of the league year MUST play in Majors or Intermediates. 12 year olds MAY NOT play below the Majors level.
Age Range: 10-12
Weekly Schedule: 1 Weeknight practice (additional practices possible depending on coach), 1 Weeknight game, 1 Saturday game
Ability Level: Majors players should be ready and willing to contribute to a competitive team at a position of strength. Opportunities are earned, and while coaches are expected to find opportunities for every player to play infield at some point in each game, players should be prepared to accept a role on their team that best contributes to the whole team’s success. Players must feel comfortable in the batters box facing stronger pitching.

The Little League Intermediate (50-70) Division is for players 11 to 13 years old. The program is a transitional program for 11 to 13 year olds using 50 foot pitching distance and 70 foot base paths. This division is an excellent opportunity for advanced players to begin their transition into fully competitive baseball, and features lead offs, pickoffs, balks, and full baseball rules on field dimensions that are developmentally appropriate for the age level and maintain the integrity of the game. There are no run limits, and games are 7 innings or 2:15 hours long.
Players may play on an Intermediate team as well as a majors team within the same season, however pitch count rules apply across divisions. Intermediates teams participate in interleague play around the Denver metro area.
